Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities. The candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and practical experience using Tally, Zoho Books, MS Excel, and other accounting tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.
• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and journal entries.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and other financial documents.
• Perform bank, cash, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
• Maintain Tally and Zoho Books accounting records and ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare monthly accounting reports and MIS as required.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Trial Balance.
• Handle GST-related accounting activities and maintain supporting records.
• Assist with GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up with customers/vendors.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and internal departments when required.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure timely corrections.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Hands-on experience with Tally / Tally Prime.
• Practical experience with Zoho Books is required.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance.
• Experience in bank and ledger reconciliation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
• Additional accounting or taxation certification will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

• 3–4 years of experience in accounting/finance roles.
• Must have hands-on experience with Tally and Zoho Books.
• Should be comfortable handling accounts independently.
• Experience in GST, TDS, reconciliations, and financial reporting will be preferred.
